Slashing words

-Yarn sewed on PVC sheet installation-

This installation aims to communicate about sexual harrassment problem that happen in Thai online Social media. Harassing words choosing from collections of online comments are sewed onto picture of men and women (which are the combination of photos of celebrities or online stars decreasing opacity and merging together to create picture of a person that does not exist). The female picture is put in front as people are more likely to concern and notice this problem that is happening to women other then when it is happening to men. The words sewed in to picture are linked together by yarn to show how different sets of harassing word can lead to similar meanings to both women and men only that they are used differently.
